In Q2 2024, the virtual fitness landscape on Android has seen varied performance among the top apps. Data from Sensor Tower highlights key trends for these health-focused applications.

AllTrails: Hike, Bike & Run experienced a revenue increase from $512K to $1.43M throughout the quarter. Downloads peaked at 1.07M in the week of May 20th, with a general upward trend. Weekly active users (WAUs) saw a high of 4.38M during the same period, ending the quarter with 4.28M.

For Strava: Run, Bike, Hike, revenue growth was notable, starting at $7.44M and reaching $11.8M by the end of June. Downloads hit a high of 1.11M at the end of April, while WAUs grew from 22.8M to 23.8M, indicating steady engagement.

Garmin Connect™ maintained a consistent download count, ranging from 847K to 785K, with active users fluctuating slightly but remaining strong, ending at 70.4M.

Step Tracker - Pedometer showed modest revenue, with a peak of $21K mid-quarter. Downloads saw a decline from 839K to 605K over the quarter, and WAUs peaked at 8.63M in mid-May, concluding with 8.81M.

Lastly, Pedometer - Step Counter App didn't generate revenue but maintained a steady download rate, peaking at 588K in late April. The app's WAUs saw a high of 7.94M at the end of April.
